The term "community midwife" has a tender meaning for me, because I have lived my life so far in this community that I now have the honor to serve.

Midwifery made its impact on me when I experienced the benefits to my health and pregnancy of a provider who actually cared - not just "provided care."

I love helping people take their health into their own hands and not be completely reliant on an indifferent "healthcare system."

Personalizing care that meets a person's goals and recognizes the context of that person's world is exciting to me.
My areas of interest in midwifery are:
-
supporting birth for those who are unpartenered
-
young parenthood
-
autoimmune issues in pregnancy
-
perineal integrity
-
gestational diabetes
-
true physiologic birth.

I live in the Walpole area with my three children, born in the hospital, the birth center, and home.
I am a part of the Sacred Transitions community both as a client and now a midwife!
I am currently serving my midwifery community as the New Hampshire Midwives Association President.
